Why does our truck yard keep rutting and cracking?
Almost always under-designed pavement: a section built for cars carrying 80,000-lb rigs. Slow, channelized truck traffic ruts thin asphalt and shears it where wheels turn. The fix is a properly designed full-depth section — or concrete — in the zones trucks actually punish.
Can you pave without shutting down our operation?
Yes — that's the core of industrial work. We phase by yard zone, keep gates and dock groups live on temporary routes, and put the most disruptive pours on weekends or shutdown windows. The sequencing plan is agreed with your ops team before mobilization.
Asphalt or concrete for loading dock areas?
Usually both: asphalt for the yard's travel lanes (economical, fast to place) and reinforced concrete at dock aprons, dolly pads, and tight-turn zones where point loads and shear destroy asphalt. We'll spec the split by how your yard actually operates.
How fast can a failed gate approach be fixed?
Full-depth patches at a gate can typically be excavated, rebuilt, and reopened within 24–48 hours — faster with infrared for shallow failures. We cone and plate hazards immediately so the gate keeps moving until the repair window.
